Along the way you will see a geothermal park, two of our magnificent waterfalls, one where you can walk behind it, stop at an old abandoned pool by the Eyjafjöll mountains and those who like can take a swim there. On the longer tour we wiil take you to Vik in Mýrdal and the spectacular Reynisfjara with its basalt columns.
Icelands most famous and beloved tour. We have been many times and always enjoy it greatly. You visit Thingvellir national park where you can see where the two tectonic plates are drifting apart, the famous Geysir and the magnificent and powerful waterfall Gullfoss.
The youngest part of Iceland, where the mediterranean rig comes to shore and where you can walk from Europe to America in just a few seconds, also the place of steam vents and mud pools, lighthouses and birdlife. Reykjanes is also the home of the Blue Lagoon, the amazing geothermal pools set amidst the lava, famous for their healing properties.
This two or three day tour to Skaftafell National park and its surroundings should not be missed. Skaftafell offers some of the most beautiful hiking trails, exceptional waterfalls framed with basaltic columns, glamorous glaciers and more. Close by is the spectacular Jökulsárlón the glacial lagoon with its 2000 year old glacial Ice.
